Our Review of the Britax Chaperone Moonstone Stroller
The Britax Chaperon Stroller is its newest addition to the infamous Britax collection. It is a full size stroller with several cool features that both the parent and the child will enjoy.
At first glance, you cannot help but notice how large and roomy its seat is. When you opt to use the stroller as a car seat, it can accommodate a 6-month old child and about a weight of 55 pounds. Its back seat can canopy up to 26” and a 15” wide seat, therefore it is roomy enough even for larger children. Its seat has an adjustable 5-point harness in and a one-handed bar recline that could go for two recline positions. The Chaperone Stroller does not recline all the way back, so it is very ideal for children aging 6 months onwards.
The Chaperone Stroller’s canopy is very large and in fact, it has the largest canopy in the market today. But despite its impressive size and length, it does not fold down in front of your child but is just enough to shade. It has a peek-a-boo window and it has a large basket under the seat that is very accessible even when the seat is reclined.
But perhaps the best thing about the Chaperone Stroller is that it is sensitive not just to the needs of the child, but for the parent as well. The stroller has a great parent tray that has two deep cup holders and a covered compartment where you can put your wallet, cell phone and keys. Its handle bars are adjustable, so it is great for both tall and short parents.
So if you used to have holding issues with your previous stroller, the Britax Chaperone Stroller will give you a better experience.
